Rachel Events was founded by Rachel Eden Leuck in January of 2008. We were named BEST WEDDING PLANNER in Dallas by the WFAA A-List. Hey guys... I am so glad you stopped by Rachel Events to check us out! I love love love wedding planning and event planning. I started this company in Dallas, Texas and we have since expanded into Fort Worth, Texas and all surrounding cities including Austin, Texas and now we have an office in Houston, Texas as well. I just love to dream up ideas and create once-in-a-life-time memories for our brides and clients. I am a certified wedding planner and I have taught certified wedding and event planning at the University of Texas at Arlington for several semesters. I truly enjoy the event industry and all the ways it challenges me to think outside the box, problem solve, create, dream and inspire my brides & clients! I love this job everyday just as much as when I started the company back in 2008. They say, "do what you love & love what you do" -This is one of my life mottos... I am so blessed to wake up everyday loving what I do! I feel that the Lord gave me the vision for this company and as such, if you ever meet me, you will hear me say that Rachel Events is God's company and I am just keeping an eye on things. I love the Lord with all my heart and I strive every day to be more like Jesus and to exude love-n-kindness to everyone I meet. I am a cancer survivor {my story was aired on 60 Minutes} and the strength it took to fight through so many surgeries and near death experiences gave me a "no excuses" sort of attitude in all things. Another motto of mine is, "strong is the new skinny" which to me means that you need not be the prettiest or the skinniest but that inner strength in mind, body, soul and heart is what it takes to survive and to thrive. I am thankful everyday to be alive, to serve the Lord with my strengths and gifts, to have an amazing husband who supports all my dreams, that I get to work with a precious group of young women here at Rachel Events and that I can bring my passion to your luxury wedding or event!

 

 

 

 

 

MATTHEW RYAN

Vice President

Welcome to Rachel Events. I am the only stud holding my ground here amongst a sea of beautiful women. I came on board Rachel Events in 2011 and have enjoyed the challenges being VP of a creative company affords me. I have an Engineering degree from Texas Tech - Guns Up!! So creativity is not my strength. But let's be honest here, I am NOT in charge of planning anyone's wedding or event! Whew - thank God! I handle all the business side of Rachel Events. I work closely with our lawyers on contracts and negotiations and with the state on all the behind the scenes legal things that are required to keep the doors open at RE. I assist Rachel Eden Leuck with our online platforms and keeping abreast of social media changes and requirements, SEO changes and requirements, vendor and client relations and development of each new planner / assistant / intern that we bring on board. However, you might find me assisting on a wedding if any of the girls need heavy things lifted, carried, boxed, unboxed, moved, setup, taken down or generally lugged a long distance! I am married to an incredible women and together we raise our two fur-children. I enjoy anything outdoors, a good bourbon and lots of books. We are looking forward to serving you with excellent planning and coordination skills at your wedding or event.

Hey ya’ll!! I’m Melissa (most people just call me Mel) From the ring, to the dress, to the flowers, and the food, I have always been obsessed with weddings. I can talk about them all day and every day! I love getting to meet new couples and hear about their love story (and see the bling!) I truly believe that wedding planning is my calling, and I will always do everything I can to make your wedding day the best one ever. I recently graduated from the University of Texas in Arlington with a Bachelors degree in Art, so I am all about the design aspects of your wedding. I’m constantly on the lookout for new color palettes, trends, and ideas to incorporate into your big day. Hello everyone! My name is Alisha and welcome to Rachel Events! I am truly blessed to have been given the opportunity to work in the field of wedding and event planning. This has been a prayer answered and would not be possible without God and our amazing owner, Rachel! With that said, my priority is to ensure that all the intricate details of your special day meet your vision. It is my goal to work with you side by side throughout this process until your event comes to fruition and help alleviate the stresses that may arise. My journey in this industry has been an incredible one filled with learning and growth. As a planner, I believe it is our job to know all the up and coming trends, venues, and vendors! I want you to love every aspect of your wedding and the journey that takes you there. I have been a planner to the core in all areas of my life for as long as I can remember. Throughout this process know that I am the one person who will never grow tired of your wedding talk! I can’t wait to work with you on turning your dreams into real life.
